When I can or have extra time I am always trying to find ways to relax and try to release some of the stress or anxiety I might be having. I think that everyone should have things that bring them happiness or help them to reset so that they have the energy to do the necessary jobs and stuff again.
The ways that I choose to relax may be different but are what seem to bring me into balance again. The first thing that I like to do is read books. The author's that bring me the most joy are Dean Koontz, Stephen King and other horror/ mystery writers. I find that they create a world that is easy to escape into and it and find peace within a fictional world. Books seem to be be a great way to forget what I am dealing with or going through to relate to a character and get immersed in their story.
I lie to play games like footnote. Playing a game makes it possible to take my mind off of things and to have something different to focus on instead. Games are usually mission oriented or you have specific tasks or a goal in mind when playing. I most enjoy playing Fortnite at the moment. It is nice follow objectives and the rewards for completing the season pass and objectives can be quite rewarding.
